Polymer clay Mermaid

This is a polymer clay mermaid that was created using a Patricia Rose push mold (I believe it was the Pearl mold). I did not modify the face at all. I did the mermaid scales using one of her tools. The tail fin was not part of the mold and was made using wire and translucent sculpey clay. The rest of the mermaid is made out of prosculpt light fairy polymer clay. The hair was a white mohair wig dyed blue using rite dye. Genesis heat set paints were used for skin shading, the face and the blue mermaid tail/fin.

This was completed in 2005 winter.
